Our Founder's Story
As the founder of three people-focused businesses in staffing, recruiting, and resume development, Edward McGoldrick has spent his career helping individuals find the right path forward, whether they are seeking their next role or hiring the right fit.
But one part of the employment cycle kept standing out as broken: the exit. Time and again, Ed saw talented people let go without real support and companies left to navigate layoffs with uncertainty, rushed timelines, and damaged morale. The transitions felt cold and transactional for both the employees leaving and the teams left behind.
That disconnect became the spark for Pivot Right.
Ed set out to reimagine how companies approach offboarding, not as a liability to manage, but as a strategic opportunity to lead with integrity and protect what matters: people, reputation, and culture. Pivot Right was built to fill the gap with high-quality outplacement services that combine expert-written resumes, career guidance, and responsive support that truly prepares people for what’s next.
